Solution 1 - Doors Closing
By using the visual language of two doors coming together- the message of moving closer together to use available space can be communicated in an engaging way.

Solution 2 - Encouragement by Play
Rather than prescriptively telling people to use space, could "play" be used to turn maximising space into a fun experience? Using the concept of "play," the Monopoly board could encourage people to aim for Mayfair (the centre of the carriage) rather than Jail.

I'm on an adventure - to explore the limits of design's ability to solve social problems, big and small. To do this I attempted to solve 50 problems in 50 days using design. I also spent time with 12 of Europe's top design firms.
