Definitely. The potential is definitely there. If there’s one group that should be people-centered, its government. But its not, it’s bureaucracy centered with the guise of being people-centered. There’s a huge area of potential there, but design itself needs a narrative to convince people to invest in it. Design is still too intimidating.

I'd like to think it would be incredibly wide spread because I've seen example of that quote you used: that "everyone is a designer." I've seen people change from being completely cynical at the outset to true advocates during the course of a project.

I think the impact of biology will be very important because designers are very close to the evolution of technology.

If you are a designer, you can’t work alone. Being a designer is about being curious, being connected, opening many doors and meeting people who are specialists in their fields.

As a designer you are an idiot. But you have intuition. You know enough to ask questions - that’s all.
