PS:Where will design be in 10 years time? Will we continue to see design thinking being applied in scenarios where design was not conceivable 30 years ago?

One part of me says I have no idea. But then I see how design is being used in third-world countries where small design problems are being solved and then you see that design really does change our lives.
How far does design change us and influence? Is it large-scale change or incremental?
